The kids look adorable!!! I thought trunk or treat was a Mormon thing too until we moved to Missouri then I wondered if the state started it and Mormons just caught on. I have been getting flyers for Trunk or Treat from everywhere, the local schools, pre-schools and churches. We will only be attending our wards trunk or treat though and then make the rounds in our neighborhood. Enjoy all the chocolate the kids bring home!!

Melissa

I miss the BG Trunk or Treat! Our ward party is tomorrow night - no Trunk or Treat though. The kids go trick or treating around to the classrooms. I prefer the parking lot ;)

Love the costumes - especially the elephant!

Samantha

The part about Benj's goatee made me laugh out loud! And Finny looks so adorable in all your photos... it makes it hard to believe your stories about him whining :-)

Genevieve

Do you get to use hand-me-down costumes, or do they each demand a new one every year? They look great.

Carolyn-Naturally those Missourian's stole it from the Mormons ;)
Melissa- we miss you guys and your trunk too :) Yes I agree, the parking lot definitely has better atmosphere especially when people decorate their trunks.
Sam-Finny really doesn't whine all that much, it was just that one pay-back day that was a particularly bad one. He's really as fun and adorable as he looks, more so actually. He is incredibly charming (in my unbiased opinion).
Toad-if you look at Halloween through the ages in a previous blog entry you will recognize the elephant costume from a few years ago filled with Gabe. We recycle and borrow different elements from generous/talented friends but it's not so much them demanding as us living vicariously through them, it's really fun to figure out who everyone is going to be each year.
